The books in Texas Paternity all stand alone, but I do have "shared" characters showing up in several books.

Denise, I hate waiting too, mainly because I forget what's going on. LOL. I had to re-read one of Nora's Blood Brother books because I'd forgotten what I read by the time the next mini series book came out.

DeloresAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-41399307407223294642009-03-09T22:05:00.000-04:002009-03-09T22:05:00.000-04:00I like both, I just hate having to wait for the ne...I like both, I just hate having to wait for the next book in mini series. I get so wrapped up in the character that I have a hard time waiting. I like the mini series where the books come out one after the other, but the ones that have a 2 or more month wait in between sometimes drive me nuts.

DeniseAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-22589806399404581072009-03-09T21:17:00.000-04:002009-03-09T21:17:00.000-04:00DeloresI like both of them. Sometimes, I love a character so much that I wish the author would write another book just so I know what the character is doing.

Connie, I don't like it either when I miss a book in a miniseries. I remember reading the JD Robb In Death books, and normally it doesn't hurt to miss one, but I missed the one where a key character revealed she was pregant. The next one I read, I went HUH? When did that happen? Lol

DeloresAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-13028957349847497052009-03-09T20:26:00.000-04:002009-03-09T20:26:00.000-04:00I love both and I am always wondering about the ch...I love both and I am always wondering about the characters after finishing a book no matter which it is. The only time I didlike a mini series is when I miss out on the first one and have trouble finding it.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01728312794812033536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-51030862956861775672009-03-09T18:19:00.000-04:002009-03-09T18:19:00.000-04:00I really enjoy mini series, I think you get to cat...I really enjoy mini series, I think you get to catch up a little bit with characters that you loved in other booksBethRehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07146606069117495534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-74168685585733846072009-03-09T17:05:00.000-04:002009-03-09T17:05:00.000-04:00Estella, that's good for me because I love to writ...Estella, that's good for me because I love to write both. :)

DeloresAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-715240446519908452009-03-09T15:46:00.000-04:002009-03-09T15:46:00.000-04:00I like both.I like both.Estellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04199693275287344161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-39012271237166754102009-03-09T13:16:00.000-04:002009-03-09T13:16:00.000-04:00That makes perfect sense, Ellen, because that's th...That makes perfect sense, Ellen, because that's the way I am. I want to know what's happening to those characters after their stories have ended.

DeloresAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64350408750596636.post-26345830542507938572009-03-09T12:35:00.000-04:002009-03-09T12:35:00.000-04:00Hard question to answer because I like both. I do like miniseries especially if they have the same characters and you get to find out what happens to them after the main characters have their HEA. But I also like stories that stand alone. I guess it depends on how the secondary characters are portrayed and how attached I get to them. And I hope this makes sense!EllenToohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06114930219445131840noreply@blogger.com
