SHARING: These are two
photos my daughter framed for me for Mother's Day. The first is me in the 70s
during my "hippie" days with my daughter. The second is my daughter
with her daughter now. It was a great Mother's Day present!!!

SHARING: my first Harlequin
Intrigue in a bookstore with my two wonderful kids, Sean and Jennifer!
SHARING: the William
Wallace Monument near Sterling. My daughter and I did a family history trip to
Scotland, and we stopped there along the way.
ELLE JAMES, DEJA VOODOO (Cajun
Magic Series), June 2013
SHARING: On an airboat tour
in the Louisiana swamps in 2012, this crazy Cajun pulled an alligator out of
the water by the tail and asked if anyone wanted to pet it. I did! I loved my
trip to the bayous. The people were funny, quirky and full of heart.
SHARING: a picture of my
baby the day we brought him home. :-)

SHARING: To me, June means
the school year is out and summer vacation is on. I've been blessed to take
many multi-generational trips across the country with my parents, hubby and
son. They're fun to plan--as we try to include something to please each of our
tastes, be it something historical, fun & games, gorgeous scenery, great
places to eat, and so on. We all get
along well, and have similar, let's-see-where-the-journey-takes-us
personalities. Some of our favorite stops have been on impulse, after seeing a
sign on the highway or getting a recommendation from a local. It's solid fun
family time, and it has been a blessing for my folks and son to be so close and
share their life experience and youthful curiosity with each other. I have more pix than I could possibly share,
but this particular one was taken in Springfield, IL, just outside the fabulous
Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum. It's my mom and dad in front of one
of his favorite stops--the train depot.

SHARING: I love sunsets and
some of my favorites have been over the water. This one's at St. Pete's Beach
in Florida. The Gulf was in front of us when we experienced some of the best
steamed shrimp we've ever eaten. A simple meal from a beach shack we stumbled upon our first night of vacation. We sat at a picnic table, with a perfect view of the gulf, a warm breeze, and a simple warning from the owner to protect your food from the gulls and "please don't feed the birds."
A great relaxing night that happened by accident. I hope everyone gets
to experience a beautiful sunset soon.

the amazing folks at Harlequin sent me this wonderful gift. How can I not love
Godiva chocolates! Yum!
The
50th published novel by Aimee & David Thurlo.
SHARING: I'm really excited
about this book. The cover depicts Native American Police Detective Preston
Bowman, and Abby a woman of many secrets. Abby opens Sitting Tall Ranch, a
place for kids who are victims of illness, poverty, abuse. There, they can
forget their troubles for at least a little while and just be kids. Detective
Preston Bowman has a gift for sensing danger. Together they make an unbeatable
team.

DESPERATE
MAGIC, Chronicles of Arandal, July 2013
SHARING: We've been working
hard on making our back garden into an oasis. I love to sit on this pallet on
the back porch and work, while I listens to the waterfall in the pond. Cats
often sit next to mre, taking the air and watching the birds and squirrels.
