Saturday, I had the opportunity to spend the day with readers and writers. I was totally energized before coming home to another bout of fever and aches. (It's been a hard, sicky winter here.) Back to the energized part !!
KAY
I've met Kay at a previous book signing. She brought me a heart-shaped post-it dispenser that my daughter is trying to steal (no way Kourtney!). LOVE HER ! But mostly because she reads. Unfortunately, all of Kay's brick & mortar book stores have closed in her city. She lives in the DFW area, but still has to leave her city limits to browse rows and rows of books.
Thanks to Kay and Ellen for making my day especially special !
LISA & ANNA
How fun to meet you! Mixing business with the pleasure of reading and visiting with authors. I envy your job and appreciate the time you took to listen and make suggestions.
RITA AWARD WINNER and super kind to remember me. And first line of her website bio states she's "has been reading romance novels since she was eleven years old.
If you like Young Adult (or have never tried it), you should definitely check out her books.
SHARON SALA
What a wonderful lady. All readers should know this RITA nominee of contemporary romance.
It's hard to believe she admits that her first book had to be hidden under her bed.
Who wouldn't have fun when readers and authors dress up for a masquarade "ball"?
