Thanks for joining me today. It would be appropriate to blog about what I'm thankful for...after all, it's Thanksgiving week here in the states. But I promised myself that my blogs would have something to do with Dangerous Memories, my February release. They don't celebrate Thanksgiving or any other holiday in the book. {sad face} But if Jolene and Levi held hands around the dinner table and said what they were thankful for. . .
Jolene: "I'm thankful to have an honorable man supporting me, loving me no matter what happens."
Levi: "And I'm grateful for a woman who never gives up, no matter how crazy afraid she becomes."
Angi: "There's lots to be thankful for, but my circle of friends who have stood by me and offer their support for every word I make-up--THANK YOU!"

I am thankful for my family and friends. I am also thankful for music and books
ReplyDeleteTo quote ABBA: "Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
DeleteThanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me."
I am thankful for my family even when they drive me bonkers :), my pets, for all of the wonderful authors and their books out there for us to enjoy, for the quiet moments I can squeeze in... :)
ReplyDelete:-) To quote Sister Sledge:
DeleteWe are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up everybody and sing
I am also thankful for my family and friends. Its been a crazy year full of ups and downs. I am also thankful for my church family and my Lord. They have been there through everything that has happened this year. I am thankful that I not only have a job but I have the best boss in the world. I am also thankful for all the wonderful Intrigue authors that not only share their gift of story telling but share their time with blogs and virtual parties. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY THANKSGIVING !!
DeleteThe words of the first Thanksgiving Hymn I ever learned:
We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing;
He chastens and hastens his will to make known;
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing,
Sing praises to his name: He forgets not his own.
Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,
Ordaining, maintaining his kingdom devine;
So from the beginning the fight we were winning;
Thou, Lord, wast at our side, All glory be thine!
We all do extol thee, thou leader triumphant,
And pray that thou still our defender wilt be.
Let thy congregation escape tribulation;
Thy name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!
Amen
I'm thankful that I live in a country that is at peace - for the most part. I am always thankful for my family.
ReplyDeleteIN THE WORDS OF COCA COLA:
DeleteI'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees and snow-white turtle doves
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms and keep it company
I'd like to see the world for once
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills Oh, peace throughout the land
Thankful for family
