I thought I'd share a few pictures of my current work-in-progress, set in Aubrey, Texas.
THESE are NOT the real covers, and at this time, I'm not certain they're keeping the titles. >>grin<< But isn't the inspiration for my heroes --John & Brian-- gorgeous?
So here's some pictures from their home town.

Do any of the pictures remind you of your home town or a place close to where you live?
That's some inspiration!!!
ReplyDeleteNone of the pictures match where I live. Maybe if I squint.
LOL
DeleteI guess I'll have to describe it well in the book.

My grandmother had a train that ran right behind her house down a bit of a hill... I got so used to the noise I did not hear it after awhile... The one next to the train... can see them a few miles away from where I live now... love the horse statue pic!
ReplyDeleteTim's family also lived next to a railroad. And my daughter lives across the street from one now. :-)

Love the train, Angi! It reminds me of my dad--he was such a nut about trains. Could tell you the name of any line no matter where we were in the country. Took pix. Rode historic steam trains.
ReplyDeleteWe have a ton of trains going through Nebraska where we live--we've got a direct UP pipeline. Plus, Nebraska has the biggest changing yard in the country out in North Platte.
Trains make me think of strong economies, strength, power. Very positive image for me. ;)
That's so cool, Julie.
DeleteI never tire of watching trains. We count the cars when at a crossing and always wave. Isn't that silly?
