WIPE YOUR PAWS

JUST IN & had to share...

Sorry, I totally forgot I was to write a post this morning. I admit that I've been under the weather, I've been traveling, and I leave again Friday...so my schedule's totally off. But I laughed this morning and thought I'd share some DALLAS moments.

We normally have to coax Dallas to "sing". This time, she began all on her own and Moose joined in with barking. Tex was laid back under my elbow...he mainly barks at bicycles. LOL

Tim and I were very lazy this weekend and watched the entire BAND OF BROTHERS series on DVD. What did you do?

Blog commenters will be entered into my next drawing (of course). I have several books to give away on the 18th of this month.

  1. Angi,

Too funny - first of all my dog was named Dallas. Next, I got the Band of Brothers DVD for my husband for Father's Day. We watched the first episode last night. We will watch the second episode tonight. Kudos to you for watching all 10 this weekend.

We also went to see The Avengers. I love Iron Man!

    1. SOUNDS like you had fun this weekend too, Tammy.

Robert Downy Jr... whew (fanning myself). But my goodness gracious...Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner (love him in BOURNE LEGACY TOO!!) and even Mark Ruffalo (who is the PERFECT HULK!!!!)

DVD comes out September 25th and I won't forget to buy it. LOL

BAND OF BROTHERS --I love the way the producers brought their story together. Some of it's hard to watch, but it's worth it.

  2. I love Band of Brothers. Have you seen the Pacific? I hung out at my cousin's house and we ordered takeout and stuffed ourselves. We caught some movies on cable like Bridesmaids, Fast Five and Contagion.

    1. What did you think of CONTAGION, Jane? And nope, haven't seen all of THE PACIFIC. We tried watching, but it just didn't have the mesmerizing connection that the 101st AIRBOURNE did for me.

    1. Marybelle, I envy that you can knit. I actually chose NOT to learn to sew. Had every opportunity from my grandmother and let it pass me by. Darn it.

  6. I'm so glad our animals make us laugh.
This weekend was a mixed bag of crafts for me. Temperature was over 100 so stayed inside mostly. Crochet, cross-stitch, sewing, and of course reading.
    Hope you feel better soon.

    1. Thanks Brenda.

Before I was writing every spare minute of the day, I cross-stitched a lot. I still have unfinished projects on my craft shelf. Wow...So many things I love to do.

  8. I didn't do much of anything this past weekend. I'm still trying to recuperate from my brief hospital stay and I don't have my full strength back. I read a couple of books and watched some tv, other than that, nothing.

  9. I did some reading this weekend too. Also, my Westie, Blithe and I went down to my mother's for an overnight. She loves to visit her Nana.
